I’m not a producer — I’m a selector. For three decades I’ve built sets in real time by digging, listening, reacting and letting the music decide where the night goes.
My main territory is Techstep, Neurofunk, Darkstep and selected Jungle.

Dirty South Josh is a technical selector with 30 years behind the decks. The set is built live, track by track, without a prepared playlist or scripted route.
I prefer spinning blind — digging through music in real time, reacting to what I hear, and letting each track determine what comes next.
I have savant syndrome, and music is one of the places where my brain works differently. Pattern recognition, transitions, energy, texture and musical relationships become part of the selection process in real time.

I’m moving back out to the woods, where reliable high-speed internet can be harder to come by and keeping a dependable connection for streaming becomes a bigger part of keeping the show running.
Live DJ sessions, the 24/7 stream, uploads, and everything happening behind the scenes all depend on having a connection strong enough to keep the music moving without constantly dropping out.
Tips from the stream will help cover the internet and connectivity costs that keep Dirty South Josh online and broadcasting.
If you can’t tip, that’s completely fine. Listening, following, sharing a mix, or hanging out during a session still helps.
BEFORE STREAMING WAS A THING.
I’ve been doing this for 30 years — underground, clubs, raves, radio, different gear, different formats, different eras.
What I never spent much time doing was building an online following. I was too busy actually DJing.
So if Dirty South Josh is a new name to you, that’s fine. The music comes first.
